Equine healing and communication – learn how to us the techniques taught by Margrit as stand alone treatments or to enhance other therapies. Her workshops are always taught with passion and enthusiasm. The aim of the 2 day workshop is to open delegates up to working at a very high level of energy and through this to be able to activate healing response in equines. All the techniques can be integrated into other therapies so that they work on a deeper level.
Energy work
Delegates will experience feeling energy movements and energy patterns in horses. This means being able to be specific and focused when working with healing energy.
Equine communication
Through unique meditation delegates will learn how to communicate with horses so that they can better understand them.
Content
The workshop will comprise lectures and practical work and there are a large number of needy horses for us to work with. Scientific evidence will also be discussed to help delegates understand the benefits of working on a deep energy level.
Workshop content includes:
- The role of the human in healing, both the practitioner and the horse carer
- The healing touch and its implications
- The bio, psycho and social aspects of equine healing
- The power of intention and how to use it for healing purposes
- Equine Energy States
- How to open up the sixth sense and intuitive level to be able to effectively communicate, mind to mind, with horses. The aim is to better understand a horse’s problems.
- Unique exercises and meditations to reach the soul of horses and understand their healing messages
- Discover Heartwarming – a unique technique developed by Margrit to enable deep healing communication to take place
- During the workshop Margrit will share her unique and extensive knowledge, passing on tips to enable delegates to enjoy the art of healing communication with horses.
Background to Margrit Coates
Margrit Coates is the author of four groundbreaking books and has commissioned four CDs of music especially for animals. She has also produced a DVD. Her work has been covered extensively in the media, including TV and radio, and she has written numerous articles and columns for a wide range of publications. As well as giving consultations Margrit lectures and teaches internationally. She is a founder partner in a clinic offering natural therapies for animals including horses. Her partners are a homeopathic veterinary surgeon and a chartered veterinary physiotherapist.
Margrit is a member of several organisations including the NFSH (National Federation of Spiritual Healers) and the British Register of Complementary Practitioners. For humans she is qualified in reflexology, aromatherapy, massage including manual lymphatic drainage, and of course healing. Margrit has taken courses with vets, osteopaths, chartered physiotherapists and scientists who specialise in energy medicine. Margrit has also studied animal cranio sacral therapy with Gail Wetzler of the Upledger Institute, USA. She often works with world renowned veterinary physiotherapist Amanda Sutton and has worked alongside the late Anthony Pusey, an outstanding and pioneering equine osteopath.
Margrit is frequently asked by vets to see horses to offer an insight into a horse’s problems. She recently took part in a clinic in Ireland, where she worked with an acupuncture vet and an equine chiropractor to help their treatments reach horses on a deeper level. All of this helps Margrit to have a good understanding of other modalities.
As well as running animal healing courses for the NFSH, Margrit has taught at the College of Psychic Studies in London and the Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary. She is a part-time lecturer in animal healing to post graduate students in the Department Of Animal Behaviour, Southampton University. Margrit has taught her specialist courses around the world to vets, vet nurses, equine physiotherapists/osteopaths/chiropractors/dentists/massage therapists and body workers etc.
